The City College student body did not forget Cohen. In 1949 the
Morris Raphael Cohen Student Memorial Fund was formed
to organize a week of events in November 1949 including a
convocation in the Great Hall and ending with the Carnival
Queen Dance, proceeds of which went to the Memorial Fund
to establish graduate study scholarships. The first page of their
