Francine Danish Altman enlarge image	Francine Danish Altman was the first woman, in the then 96-year history of the College, to obtain a degree from the School of Technology. She entered City as a transfer student from Brooklyn College and received her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in September 1943.
