CCNY in Souvenirs, 1900-1947


At fairs and flea markets, postcard dealers abound. Thumbing through their collegiate sections, one usually finds a large CCNY section, with more than 40 different early views of the college. Postcard books and folders are much less common.

College of the City of New York, N.Y. hand tinted postcard. This duplicates the image found in the Fletcher's 1905 brochure with the buildings creatively colored red.



1910s
